Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking an Architecture Lead to define and drive the organization's cloud connectivity and network security strategy. You will shape the enterprise reference architectures, roadmap, and standards, guiding complex, multi-domain projects.

Join a team responsible for AWS/Azure journeys, on-prem to cloud migrations, and security architectures. Strong senior leadership is required to influence stakeholders and deliver enterprise-scale outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience across multiple technology areas and enterprise architecture exposure in specialty areas.
• Design, development and implementation of enterprise-scale applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead Architecture for Cloud Connectivity and Network Security Services.
• Develop strategy and roadmaps; assess current environment and influence direction.
• Create reference architectures and repeatable patterns; set standards for cloud journeys.
• Lead complex projects and ensure enterprise-level rollouts succeed.
• Provide architecture direction across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors; drive decisions and hands-on work as needed.
• Publish dashboards and maintain architecture documentation.
