Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is hiring an Application Modernization Solution Architect to drive enterprise cloud migrations and modernizations. You will qualify and close large-scale deals, define target architectures, and partner with account teams to deliver value to customers.

You will design modern architectures, lead migrations from data centers to AWS, and work with leadership to craft transformation roadmaps that maximize agility, performance, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, or infrastructure.
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences including C-level executives.
• Proven ability to develop end-to-end IT transformation roadmaps toward cloud adoption.

Responsibilities

• Qualify, develop, and close deals around migrating and modernizing applications at scale.
• Architect reliable, scalable cloud architectures and modernization plans for customers.
• Collaborate with AWS teams to drive migrations including SAP, Oracle, VMware, and refactoring.
• Engage enterprise customers to define migration strategies and ensure successful outcomes.
