Job summary

Google Cloud Boulder is seeking an Advanced Architect to own outcomes, solve ambiguous problems, and influence stakeholders across the Google ecosystem.

You will design enterprise architectures for hybrid cloud and cloud migrations, lead cross‑functional teams, and present to executives.

The US base salary range is $168,350–$222,000 with a 42.86% target bonus plus equity and benefits; travel up to 10% regionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Business or related field with 10 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a Principal Architect-related occupation
• Master’s degree in CS/IT/Business or related field with 8 years of experience in the job offered or a Principal Architect-related occupation
• Experience in structured enterprise architecture for hybrid cloud or cloud migrations, architecture of distributed cloud systems, and presenting to executives

Responsibilities

• Build trusted advisory relationships with C-level executives and stakeholders to identify priorities and design strategies across the Google ecosystem.
• Recommend integration strategies and enterprise architectures to implement solutions while promoting best practices for Google Cloud effectiveness.
• Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with product management to manage enterprise architecture relationships and governance of cloud strategies.
• Partner with Value Engineering to articulate total value of technical solutions and drive business growth through pipeline development.
• Drive pilots and migrations by removing technical barriers and promoting solutions at customer sites; travel regionally as needed.
