Job summary

Amazon Leo in New York is seeking a Sr Manager, Enterprise Architect to partner with ERP, MES, PLM, WMS, and SCP leaders to design and govern enterprise solutions. You will lead architecture, integration standards, ABAP/Platform engineering, and ITGC/GRC across SAP and boundary platforms, ensuring scalable, auditable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years in enterprise systems architecture with SAP (S/4HANA, ECC) or Oracle Applications depth including integration, custom development, and governance.
• 5+ years managing and developing teams of architects or engineers with full hiring, performance, and career development ownership.
• 7+ years in manufacturing, supply chain, Finance or industrial operations technology.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns: API management, middleware, EDI, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience owning ITGC and GRC for SAP or Oracle ERP environments.
• Experience governing master data ownership within SAP MDG, Oracle MDM, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Target-State Enterprise Architecture. Define and maintain target-state architecture, system boundaries, and clean-core guardrails.
• Lead the Architecture Authority forum with decision rights to approve or reject designs before build.
• Boundary Systems Integration. Own integration standards across SAP and boundary platforms; drive pattern reuse.
• ABAP Engineering Quality. Lead ABAP standards, code quality, review discipline, and debt reduction.
• Basis and Platform Engineering. Oversee SAP S/4HANA architecture for integration and integrity.
• Program Execution Planning. Plan technical capacity across employees and SI resources.
• ITGC Ownership. Own SAP ITGC design across change management, access, operations, and evidence.
• GRC and Access Governance. Manage SoD, privileged access, and emergency access controls.
• Release Architecture and Production Readiness. Ensure gates, documentation, and auditability for production.
• Technical Vendor Governance. Set standards for SI partners and measure quality and knowledge transfer.
• Master Data and System-Boundary Discipline. Govern data ownership and canonical data models.
• Technical Bench Strength. Hire and develop the team with durable operating cadences.
