Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Corporate Business Technology team. This role is responsible for designing, governing, and continuously improving the firm’s enterprise application architecture in alignment with our Microsoft-centric, cloud-first IT strategy.

The Senior Enterprise Architect will help define architecture standards, roadmaps, governance models, and reusable patterns that connect business capabilities with scalable, secure, and integrated technology

Qualifications

• 6 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot.
• Experience using ServiceNow APM/EA modules.
• Ability to translate business strategy into capability models, architecture roadmaps, and practical technology recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and advisory skills.
• Expertise in integration architecture, cloud-native design patterns, and enterprise application modernization.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns across enterprise systems using Microsoft Azure services such as API Management, Logic Apps, and related cloud capabilities.
• Define reference architectures, reusable solution patterns, and architecture guardrails that support secure, scalable, and standardized delivery.
• Document and maintain architecture standards, roadmaps, solution patterns, and related artifacts within ServiceNow EA/APM or similar tools.
• Support architecture governance processes, including architecture review boards, solution approvals, and adherence to enterprise standards.
• Partner with delivery teams and stakeholders as a trusted architecture advisor, helping identify risks, dependencies, and integration challenges across platforms.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise architecture practices, maturity, and alignment with target-state roadmaps.
• Perform other duties as required.
