Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Corporate Business Technology team. This role designs, governs, and improves the firm’s enterprise application architecture in alignment with a Microsoft-centric, cloud-first IT strategy.

The Senior Enterprise Architect will define architecture standards, roadmaps, governance models, and reusable patterns connecting business capabilities with scalable, secure technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 6 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns across enterprise systems using Microsoft Azure services.
• Define reference architectures, reusable solution patterns, and architecture guardrails.
• Document and maintain architecture standards, roadmaps, and artifacts within ServiceNow EA/APM or similar tools.
• Support architecture governance processes, including architecture review boards and solution approvals.
• Partner with delivery teams and stakeholders as a trusted architecture advisor.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise architecture practices and alignment with roadmaps.
• Perform other duties as required.
