Job summary

Sligo Software Solutions is seeking a Systems Architect to support the Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) in New York State. The role focuses on architectural initiatives for the Medicaid Data Warehouse and Enterprise, with responsibilities spanning technical specs, governance, and cross-system integration.

Key qualifications include 84 months in enterprise architecture, experience with ESB/MuleSoft, IAM, and major databases.

Qualifications

• 84 months of enterprise architecture experience including managing enterprise solutions, software license agreements, procurements, RFIs, RFPs, write proposals and overall enterprise budgets.
• Experience with data systems and databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Db2.
• Experience designing and implementing service-oriented architectures.
• Experience in reviewing new projects for architectural impact and providing Architecture Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Create technical specifications for the MDW and Medicaid Data Enterprise.
• Review and evaluate technical specifications and procurements from technical/financial perspectives.
• Support enterprise licensing, budgeting, forecasting, and governance.
• Ensure alignment with business objectives and system integration with other applications.
• Create Logical and Physical Technology Models and collaborate with NYS ITS.
• Participate in Data Governance Meetings and Enterprise Architecture reviews.
