Job summary

Trigyn Technologies, Inc. in Albany, NY is seeking a Systems Architect to sustain the Medicaid Data Warehouse (MDW) and Medicaid Data Enterprise. The role covers hardware, software, and infrastructure in design, development and implementation across the MDW ecosystem.

Key duties include creating technical specifications, reviewing procurements, managing licenses, budgets, and governance, and ensuring integration with other applications while coordinating with NYS ITS and vendors.

Qualifications

• Defines the architecture of a computerized system to fulfill requirements, including components and interfaces.
• Leads and guides large teams with extensive industry experience at the top of the field.
• 7+ years of Enterprise Architecture experience including software licenses, procurements and budgets.
• 7+ years of experience with data systems using Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL or Db2.
• 7+ years designing, implementing and evaluating SOA and integration projects.
• 7+ years reviewing projects for architectural impact and governance.

Responsibilities

• Create technical specifications.
• Reviewing and evaluating technical specifications.
• Review and evaluate procurements from a technical and financial perspective.
• Support and take responsibility for enterprise licensing, budget and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with business objectives and requirements.
• Ensures functionality is integrated with other applications.
• Create Logical and Physical Technology Models.
• Work with Vendor and NYS ITS to support existing infrastructure.
• Support Enterprise Architecture review and governance.
• Participate in Data Governance Meetings.
• Fulfil requests from management.
• Review new and existing data designs including database, SQL and ETL applications to ensure correctness.
• System and Vendor Quality Assurance.
