Job summary

Vectrus, Inc. seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to document and shape client IT enterprise architecture in the Bethesda area. You will ensure alignment with the client’s vision for interoperability across organizations and drive critical architectural decisions.

You will work with cross-functional teams to develop baseline and future state architectures, and craft transition plans to guide incremental transformation within a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 12–15 years of relevant experience, or MS with 10–13 years; doctorate is possible.
• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Systems Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF, UAF).
• Familiarity with SysML/UML and Model-Based Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop IT enterprise architecture documenting as-is and to-be states.
• Create transition plan and architecture artifacts for migration.
• Collaborate with content providers, developers, engineers, and business analysts.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement.
