Job summary

Fathom Management is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to support complex financial and healthcare systems for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on enterprise architecture, healthcare claims processing, financial systems, cloud infrastructure, and legacy modernization experience, with emphasis on IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, EDI/X12, iFAMS, Azure, OpenShift, and ESB/API integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in a technical field.
• Hands-on enterprise architecture experience in complex environments.
• Experience with healthcare payer/claims, financial systems, or comparable domains.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise, solution, application, infrastructure, and integration architecture.
• Architect modernization of legacy healthcare and financial systems.
• Design EDI/X12 transaction architectures using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
• Support healthcare claims, pharmacy verification, eligibility, claims-status, and payment-processing integrations.
• Architect and support OpenShift containerized environments.
• Develop migration and modernization roadmaps and cost analyses.
