Job summary

Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. is seeking a senior Enterprise Architect to define the target-state architecture and drive platform-scale roadmaps across cloud, data, and integration domains.

You will partner with business leaders to translate strategy into capability plans, supervise architecture governance, and mentor engineers while ensuring security and regulatory compliance across the stack.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology with 5+ years in enterprise or senior architecture roles.
• Proven ability to define target-state architecture and multi-year roadmaps.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud (Azure preferred).
• Strong API, event-driven integration and identity management knowledge.
• Experience leading architecture governance and ADRs.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise target-state architecture across domains.
• Translate business strategy into multi-year roadmaps and capability plans.
• Lead portfolio rationalization and modernization through risk assessment.
• Evaluate build, buy, and partner options including fintech vendors.
• Chair Architecture Review Board and enforce standards and guardrails.
• Guide cloud, data, integration, and AI initiatives with governance.
• Mentor architects and engineers, communicate trade-offs to executives.
