Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise systems in Dallas, TX. The role emphasizes Domain Driven Design (DDD) and brownfield modernization, guiding teams across technologies to deliver scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align architecture with business goals and platform strategy, while mentoring engineers and setting standards for CI/CD, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering with system architecture experience.
• Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong experience applying Domain Driven Design (DDD) in real-world enterprise applications.
• Experience with brownfield modernization projects and incremental replacement of legacy systems.
• Experience with API-driven architectures, microservices, and event-based systems.
• Solid knowledge of cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, resilient system architectures for enterprise apps.
• Apply DDD to structure domains into bounded contexts and services.
• Lead brownfield modernization initiatives preserving operational continuity.
• Define architecture patterns for microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and distributed architectures.
• Partner with engineering teams to enforce architectural standards and best practices.
• Evaluate existing systems and create roadmaps for modernization and transformation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring engineers and guiding decisions across teams.
• Ensure systems meet scalability, performance, security, and reliability requirements.
• Collaborate with DevOps to define CI/CD, observability, and operational standards.
• Participate in design reviews and architecture governance.
