Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software architecture, including hands-on delivery of enterprise-scale solutions.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering identity-federated, zero-trust web platforms.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and integration with legacy systems.
• Proven track record of developing architectures that multiple engineering teams have successfully implemented.
• Strong technical leadership skills and the ability to communicate complex architectural decisions to technical teams, government stakeholders, and review boards.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the target architecture, including all architectural design decisions of record.
• Define and oversee the architecture for identity federation and attribute-based access control, the composable application shell, the event-driven work-item hub, externalized business rules, the capability registry, and the integration gateway.
• Establish technical direction and architectural standards to support secure, scalable, and interoperable enterprise applications.
• Serve as the senior technical authority over the Platform Lead and development squad leads, ensuring architectural consistency across the program.
• Define the integration levels for applications connecting to the enterprise platform and establish conformance checks for onboarding.
