Job summary

Humana seeks a Senior Enterprise Architect to align business vision with technology strategy and drive enterprise standards across the IT landscape. You will mentor architects and guide modernization efforts, ensuring value-driven outcomes through strategic technology delivery.

You will collaborate with business and IT leaders to map value streams, document current architectures, and shape the technology portfolio to support Humana's goals and scalable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years design, development, and testing of software applications.
• Progressive experience as a senior application and/or solution architect or technical lead in a large company.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strong advocate for the business within IT and ensure technology execution aligns with business strategy.
• Help achieve value-driven outcomes by ensuring Humana's Technology Strategy is executed in alignment with corporate vision and segment business strategies.
• Engage in enterprise technology modernization initiatives with application teams and stakeholders to deliver value through architecture guidance and execution support.
• Mentor pattern-based development with a strong focus on resource and cost optimization.
• Lead the adoption and delivery of lean enterprise architecture within an agile delivery framework.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to map business vision to value streams, capabilities, and functions.
• Document current state architecture, value streams, and domain capability models with segment and domain architects and leadership.
• Define and maintain technology strategies, including intermediate and end state architectures, to align portfolio with opportunities and business value.
