Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Corporate Business Technology team in the United States. This role focuses on designing, governing, and improving the firm’s enterprise application architecture aligned with a cloud-first strategy on Microsoft platforms.

You will partner with stakeholders to connect business capabilities with scalable, secure technology solutions across Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, and ServiceNow APM. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience in enterprise/technology architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience with TOGAF or similar frameworks and practical application of architecture principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns using Microsoft Azure services (API Management, Logic Apps, etc.).
• Define reference architectures and reusable solution patterns with architecture guardrails.
• Document and maintain architecture standards and roadmaps in ServiceNow EA/APM or similar tools.
• Support governance processes including architecture review boards and solution approvals.
• Partner with delivery teams as trusted architecture advisor to identify risks and integration challenges.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of architecture practices and maturity.
