Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Corporate Business Technology team. The role will design and govern enterprise application architecture aligned with a Microsoft-centric, cloud-first IT strategy across Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, and ServiceNow APM.

You will partner with stakeholders to define roadmaps, govern standards, and deliver scalable, secure solutions while advancing architectural maturity and portfolio management across platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in enterprise architecture, application architecture, or a related technology architecture discipline.
• Working knowledge of TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture frameworks, with practical application.
• Deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem: Azure IaaS/PaaS, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot.
• Experience using ServiceNow APM or Enterprise Architecture modules for portfolio management and mapping.
• Ability to translate business strategy into capability models and roadmaps.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and advisory skills; able to present to business/tech audiences.
• Expertise in integration architecture, cloud-native design, and modernization.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns using Azure services (API Management, Logic Apps).
• Define reference architectures and reusable patterns.
• Document architecture standards and roadmaps in ServiceNow EA/APM or similar tools.
• Support architecture governance and solution approvals.
• Collaborate with delivery teams as an architecture advisor to identify risks and integration challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of architecture practices and maturity.
