Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the firm’s enterprise application architecture, aligning with a cloud‑first, Microsoft‑centric strategy. This role defines standards, roadmaps, and governance, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure architecture across Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, and ServiceNow APM.

Qualifications

• 6 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns across enterprise systems using Microsoft Azure services such as API Management, Logic Apps, and related cloud capabilities.
• Define reference architectures, reusable solution patterns, and architecture guardrails that support secure, scalable, and standardized delivery.
• Document and maintain architecture standards, roadmaps, solution patterns, and related artifacts within ServiceNow EA/APM or similar tools.
• Support architecture governance processes, including architecture review boards, solution approvals, and adherence to enterprise standards.
• Partner with delivery teams and stakeholders as a trusted architecture advisor, helping identify risks, dependencies, and integration challenges across platforms.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise architecture practices, maturity, and alignment with target‑state roadmaps.
• Perform other duties as required.
