Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to shape the enterprise architecture function and define governance, standards, and roadmaps aligned with business priorities. The role guides AI-enabled capabilities, data architecture, and integration strategies in a fast-moving technology environment.

Remote, US-based candidates with 10+ years in IT and 5+ years in leadership will lead architecture governance, multi-year roadmaps, and high-impact technology investments while collaborating

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT/technology roles, with 5+ years in enterprise architecture or leadership.
• Experience building or maturing an enterprise architecture function in a mid-size or high-growth environment.
• Deep knowledge of business systems and data architecture principles.
• Direct experience with AI/ML integration into enterprise systems.
• Foundational understanding of AI security and data privacy principles.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and integration patterns.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the enterprise architecture operating model and governance framework.
• Develop and present core technology standards and multi-year roadmaps.
• Drive architecture review processes for major technology investments.
• Lead the enterprise AI architecture strategy and infrastructure choices.
• Establish responsible AI policies and architectural guardrails.
• Define data architecture standards and API integration frameworks.
• Act as a trusted architectural authority and build consensus on technology decisions.
