Job summary

ICANN seeks an Enterprise Architect to shape the technology landscape, establishing the enterprise architecture framework and governance across the organization. This role collaborates with engineering, infrastructure, security, and enterprise teams to ensure coherent, scalable technology solutions aligned with strategic priorities.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in enterprise or systems architecture, deep knowledge of TOGAF/ArchiMate, cloud platforms, APIs, and data governance.

Qualifications

• Experience with TOGAF, ArchiMate or similar EA methodologies.
• Understanding of AI, ML, and intelligent automation in enterprise environments.
• Experience evaluating platforms and defining enterprise standards for emerging tech.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain ICANN’s enterprise architecture framework, principles, and reference models.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards across business, data, application and technology domains.
• Lead architecture governance processes reviewing major technology initiatives and platform changes.
• Provide architectural guidance for AI-enabled solutions ensuring alignment with security and governance.
• Translate priorities into a coherent technology architecture roadmap with CIO and leadership.
