Central Garden & Pet is seeking an Enterprise Architect to define and guide the platform foundation and architecture across the enterprise, accelerating data, analytics, AI, and digital transformation. This senior individual-contributor role requires holding the whole enterprise picture, guiding decisions, and influencing across domains.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience spanning strategy, integration, and applications.
• 5+ years in enterprise architecture leadership developing strategy and roadmaps.
• Experience in complex, multi-brand, multi-business environments.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture strategy across domains and align capabilities with cloud infrastructure.
• Lead modernization of legacy systems and adoption of API-first, event-driven patterns.
• Architect modern data strategy (data mesh/fabric) with knowledge graphs and shared ontologies.
• Design architectures for AI applications with reusable plug-and-play framework for M&A/divestitures.
• Governance of architecture (ARB/STARC) ensuring risk and compliance alignment.
