Central Garden & Pet seeks an Enterprise Architect to define the platform foundation and guide data, analytics, AI, and digital transformation. This senior individual-contributor role demands an enterprise-wide view and influence across domains.

You will partner with technology and business leaders to craft the architecture vision, set practical standards, and drive a cohesive, cost-effective tech ecosystem across multiple brands.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience spanning strategy, integration, and applications.
• 5+ years in an enterprise architecture leadership role developing strategy and roadmaps.
• Experience in complex, multi-brand, multi-business environments.
• Deep cloud architecture knowledge and related platforms (Azure preferred).

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture strategy across domains and align data/AI platforms with cloud infrastructure.
• Lead modern architecture evolution, modernization of legacy systems, and API‑driven integration.
• Architect data strategy (data mesh/fabric) with knowledge graphs and ontologies.
• Design systems for autonomous AI agents and establish technical standards.
• Establish multi‑cloud architectures and cost‑effective scaling.
• Guide governance (ARB/STARC) and ensure risk/compliance alignment.
• Translate business strategy into executable roadmaps with measurable ROI.
