Job summary

Code and Theory is a digital-first agency seeking an accomplished architect to lead the architecture pillar of the Adobe practice. You will be the senior authority, guiding technical direction, career growth, and client-facing advocacy across Adobe engagements.

You will build patterns, mentor a distributed team, and own design decisions while partnering with sales and Adobe partners. This role requires travel and deep enterprise exposure.

Qualifications

• 20+ years in technology, including 5+ years leading architects or senior technical staff globally.
• Ownership of performance reviews, career development and compensation decisions.
• Experience in an agency, consultancy or systems integrator with multiple concurrent clients.
• Experience delivering across US, India and LATAM specifically.
• Deep architectural expertise in content/experience, data/personalization, or work management/content supply chain.
• Enterprise integration architecture (CRM, commerce, search, identity/SSO, analytics, data platforms).
• Experience with modern architecture patterns (API-first, headless, cloud-native).
• Hands-on use of AI engineering tools and building AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural quality across every Adobe engagement in the practice.
• Run architecture reviews and establish cadence and standards.
• Set and maintain architecture standards, reference architectures and reusable patterns.
• Act as escalation point for hardest design and integration problems.
• Build accelerator and asset library to speed engagements.
