Job summary

Magnify is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client, a large enterprise organization in the manufacturing industry. This position will help connect business priorities with long-term technology direction across corporate and operational environments.

The right candidate will bring broad architectural judgment, understand how technology decisions affect the larger enterprise, and confidently guide leaders through complex modernization and investment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience delivering complex enterprise technology solutions.
• Advanced architecture experience spanning enterprise applications, data platforms, analytics, automation, integrations, and cloud-based solutions.
• Strong familiarity with ERP-driven environments involving SAP, manufacturing operations, supply chain, logistics, or other interconnected business platforms.
• Knowledge of industrial technology environments, including MES, SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, IoT devices, or operational-data historians.
• Experience designing integrations through APIs, API-management tools, middleware, or iPaaS platforms such as Boomi.
• Understanding of cloud and infrastructure architecture across AWS, Microsoft Azure, hybrid environments, security, scalability, resiliency, and application dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Establish architectural direction for enterprise applications, data, integration, automation, cloud, and operational technology.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps that connect business priorities with practical technology investments.
• Advise senior leaders on modernization opportunities, technical risk, dependencies, costs, and competing options.
• Evaluate existing platforms and identify opportunities to simplify, consolidate, automate, or improve performance.
• Guide project and solution teams to ensure proposed designs support broader architectural and security expectations.
• Build alignment among business leaders, IT teams, engineers, security partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor technical professionals while encouraging stronger architecture practices and informed technology experimentation.

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Snowflake, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or advanced analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with architecture and industrial standards such as TOGAF, Zachman, the Purdue Model, ISA-95, ISA-112, or ISA/IEC 62443.
• Exposure to SCOR, S&OP, manufacturing-process architecture, or comparable supply-chain planning frameworks.
