Job summary

TriSearch is seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Architect in Los Angeles to lead modernization, ERP transformations, and cloud adoption across a multi-location manufacturing environment.

You will define architecture standards, build APIs and integrations, and guide development teams while partnering with IT and business leaders on strategic technology investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years in enterprise or solution architecture, software engineering, or modernization.
• Hands-on software development in last 3–5 years with design, reviews, and modernization.
• Experience modernizing ERP, integration, and cloud initiatives.
• Experience with ERP ecosystems, manufacturing systems, and complex platforms.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations and enterprise transformation.
• Strong knowledge of integration, architecture, and modern software practices.
• Experience across multi-location or distributed environments.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

A leading North American manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced **Enterprise Applications Architect** to help shape the future of its enterprise technology ecosystem.

This high-impact role will lead application modernization, ERP transformation, cloud adoption, enterprise integration, and AI-enablement initiatives across a complex, multi-location environment. You’ll work closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, software engineers, and technology teams to modernize legacy platforms, establish scalable architecture standards, and deliver solutions that support long-term business growth.

This is a highly visible, hands-on position for an architect who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with practical execution.

What You’ll Do

• Assess, document, and maintain the enterprise application portfolio.
• Define and implement enterprise architecture standards, principles, and modernization roadmaps.
• Design and build APIs, integrations, and scalable services across legacy and modern platforms.
• Evaluate applications based on business value, technical health, security, scalability, and long-term supportability.
• Lead modernization initiatives involving cloud migration, API enablement, SaaS adoption, refactoring, and application retirement.
• Develop architecture strategies that modernize ERP ecosystems, reduce legacy dependencies, and enable seamless enterprise integration.
• Design AI-ready application and data architectures to support analytics, automation, and future AI initiatives.
• Build secure, scalable integration solutions using APIs, middleware, and event-driven architecture.
• Establish architecture governance, documentation standards, and technical review processes.
• Promote modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing, and reusable services.
• Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership across enterprise initiatives.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve business agility and reduce technical debt.
• Partner with business and IT leaders to translate strategic objectives into practical technology solutions.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, software engineering, or application modernization.
• Recent hands-on software development experience within the past 3–5 years, including application design, code reviews, and modernization initiatives.
• Proven experience modernizing enterprise applications and legacy technology environments.
• Experience with custom applications, ERP ecosystems, manufacturing systems, or other complex business platforms.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations and enterprise transformation programs.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration, application architecture, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience working across multi-location or geographically distributed enterprise environments.
• Manufacturing industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
