Job summary

The City of Pittsburgh seeks a Senior Enterprise Application Administrator to oversee enterprise applications supporting municipal operations. The role drives performance, security, and long-term stewardship of core systems used across departments such as ERP, asset management, permits, and records.

The SEAA will guide deployment, configuration, and maintenance, mentor EAA staff, and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on new system implementations within the Innovation and Performance

Qualifications

• 4 years in enterprise application administration with deploying, configuring, and managing complex software systems.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Eight total years when using education/training equivalency meets total requirement.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: assists in developing and implementing strategies aligned with goals.
• Application Deployment and Configuration: leads deployment, configuration, and customization of enterprise apps.
• System Administration: performs maintenance, updates, upgrades, and monitors performance.
• Project Management: plans and manages projects from conception to completion within scope and budget.
• User Support and Training: provides support and trains users on features and best practices.
• Security and Compliance: enforces security policies and conducts assessments for regulatory compliance.
• Documentation: maintains technical docs and guides.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: coordinates with IT, operations, and finance.
• Innovation and Improvement: stays updated with tech trends and drives improvements.
• Others: supports Enterprise Applications Administrators (EAA).
