Job summary

Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc. (AWG) is seeking a Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer – Implementation & Modernization. The hybrid role focuses on moving on‑premise systems to cloud platforms, integrating vendor solutions, and delivering scalable enterprise applications.

You will partner with stakeholders to optimize performance, security, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate has 8–12 years in enterprise IT, strong SDLC knowledge, and hands‑on experience with ERP and retail tech.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) to twelve (12) years of progressive experience supporting enterprise applications and technology solutions.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions and applying cloud best practices.
• Experience implementing and supporting ERP, payroll, warehouse management, or manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, configuration, and support of cloud-based applications and vendor solutions.
• Coordinate testing, risk management, and deployment strategies across multi-team environments.
• Manage full application lifecycle including enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and maintenance.
