Job summary

City of Indio seeks an experienced IT professional to coordinate and manage enterprise applications across public-facing departments. You will guide deployment, configuration, and ongoing usage of critical systems to improve citizen services.

The role requires strong project management, vendor coordination, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective IT solutions, with an emphasis on security, licensing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, public/business administration, electronics engineering, or related field preferred.
• Five years of progressively responsible technical staff/management experience in a municipal or utility setting with supervision.
• Tyler Munis/EnerGov experience is desirable.
• Related education/experience may be substituted year-for-year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deployment, configuration, and usage of enterprise applications.
• Manage software improvements, procurements, testing, and vendor communication.
• Organize and lead internal user groups for enterprise applications and participate in user groups.
• Develop standards, procedures, and best practices for application deployment and reporting.
• Ensure security, licensing, training, and documentation for application systems.
