Job summary
The City of Carlsbad IT department seeks a Senior Applications Analyst to lead and support core business software across multiple clients and vendors. You will implement, test, and maintain enterprise solutions including Workday, SpryPoint Utility Billing, and Can/Am Teller Cashiering, while guiding end-users and staff with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience.
- Five years of professional IT experience in related function.
- Experience with business intelligence apps and reporting tools.
- Ability to support installation, development, and maintenance of BI software and servers.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support enterprise software applications for city operations.
- Develop, document and maintain reports and interfaces.
- Provide technical assistance on connectivity to peripheral equipment.
- Assist in implementing new software releases and upgrades.
- Translate business needs into programming solutions.
- Develop and manage project plans and vendor coordination.
