Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Senior Application Architect in Arlington to design and structure software applications across the enterprise, aligning with strategy, security, and scalability. You will translate business needs into architectural strategies and guide delivery from core platforms to cloud integrations.

The role blends strategic direction with hands-on work, including shaping delivery, configuring systems, and mentoring teammates, reporting to the Director of IT Applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in application development, engineering, or architecture, incl. 3+ years in an architecture-focused role.
• Architecting solutions across enterprise platforms (ERP and core business systems).
• Hands‑on depth with configuration, master data, and workflows.
• Strong integration design skills: data mappings, interfaces, APIs, and middleware/iPaaS.

Responsibilities

• Define the application-level structure and blueprint for deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure new applications meet enterprise standards for security, permissions, and integrations.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions and lead design reviews.
• Lead integration design from data sources to interfaces across applications.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate with analysts, developers, and project managers.
