Job summary

BICP is seeking an experienced AI Platform Architect in a Forward Deployed capacity to join our San Diego team. The role focuses on designing and enabling enterprise AI platforms, patterns, and foundations to move AI/ML/GenAI solutions from experimentation into secure, scalable production environments.

You will collaborate across AI Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, Security, and Enterprise Architecture to establish an AI platform that empowers teams to move quickly while maintaining

Qualifications

• Over 10 years in Cloud/Data/Platform architectures or equivalent.
• Proven leadership at principal/senior staff level with strong stakeholder communication.
• Experience architecting modern AI/ML platforms and production AI systems in enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end AI lifecycle: experimentation, deployment, monitoring, governance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve enterprise AI/ML and GenAI platform ecosystems.
• Design scalable patterns for developing, deploying, integrating, monitoring and governing production AI solutions.
• Establish reference architectures for LLMs, RAG, AI agents, model serving, orchestration, observability.
• Partner with Data Science/AI teams to move models and agents to reliable production environments.
• Translate complex architecture into actionable recommendations for engineers and leadership.
