Job summary

FourKites is hiring a Senior Customer Engineer to own end-to-end technical customer relationships for 2–4 enterprise accounts. You will design integration architectures, deploy AI workflows, and mentor engineers while partnering with product, engineering, and success teams.

You’ll use LangGraph and OpenAI tooling across discovery, design, code, testing, and deployment, ensuring robust, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of software engineering experience with ownership of complex integration or customer-facing technical work
• Strong proficiency in Java and one of Python or Ruby with production-grade code and test coverage
• Foundations in data structures and algorithms; designs scalable systems
• Hands-on experience designing modular, observable enterprise integration and AI workflow systems

Responsibilities

• Own complex integration and AI workflow implementations end to end for 2–4 enterprise accounts
• Design integration architectures with robust error handling, retries, observability, and multi-system authentication
• Develop agentic AI workflows and deploy them live with customers during sessions
• Lead technical discovery sessions and propose credible, innovative solutions on the spot
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work to enforce quality standards
