Job summary

FourKites, the leader in AI-driven supply chain transformation, seeks a Senior AI Engineer to design and productionize AI agents and data integrations across shipper/carrier ecosystems. You will focus on backend development (75-80%) in Python and Java/Go, and contribute to frontend integration and data modeling.

You will work on end-to-end features with LangGraph and Kubernetes, advancing FourKites' AI agent capabilities for real-time visibility and automation across global enterprises.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Backend/Software Developer with AI/agentic systems exposure
• Python is mandatory
• Proficiency in Java or GoLang
• 2+ years hands-on with LangGraph or similar agentic frameworks
• Strong OO programming knowledge
• Experience with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB) and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and Kubernetes
• Full SDLC experience (dev, QA, release)
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
• Experience with AWS or cloud services is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and productionize AI agents/workflows (e.g., support automation, voice, onboarding) using LangGraph
• Develop, test, and maintain backend applications in Python and Java/Go
• Write clean, well-documented code across the full SDLC
• Design and implement data models and database schemas
• Collaborate with frontend team to integrate backend with UI
• Perform code reviews and enforce quality standards
• Troubleshoot AI agent workflows in production
• Work with DevOps to deploy and manage apps in Kubernetes
• Continuously learn and stay updated with AI/agentic trends
