Job summary

Navitus is seeking an Engineer, Enterprise AI in the Columbus, OH area to design, build, and operationalize enterprise AI capabilities that enable scalable adoption of AI and agentic AI across the organization.

The role partners with Architecture, Platform and Data teams to deliver AI services, integrations, and governance-compliant frameworks for generative AI, ML, and agentic workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6–8 years of software or platform engineering, with 2–4 years in AI/ML production environments.
• Experience building or supporting AI-enabled apps, data pipelines, model integrations, or AI platform components.
• Strong experience with generative and agentic AI workflows, orchestration, and context services.
• Hands-on in MLOps/LLMOps: deployment pipelines, monitoring, lifecycle management, and governance.
• Development experience in Python, C#, or similar backend languages for AI services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise AI solutions enabling scalable adoption of generative AI, ML, and agentic AI.
• Implement architecture patterns and standards defined by the Enterprise AI Architect into production-ready solutions.
• Develop AI integrations connecting AI capabilities with enterprise apps, data platforms, and cloud services.
• Create AI-enabled services including model interfaces, orchestration, and reusable tooling for enterprise teams.
• Support Agentic AI workflows with orchestration, tool integrations, context management, and human-in-the-loop capabilities.
• Maintain AI operational capabilities (MLOps/LLMOps) including deployment pipelines, monitoring, and governance.
• Ensure solutions align with governance, security, and regulatory requirements; support platform enablement.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, and Product teams to scale AI infrastructure.
