Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a senior enterprise AI architect to design end-to-end AI solutions across data platforms, models, and enterprise systems. You will shape integration patterns and provide hands-on guidance to delivery teams in large, multi-engagement programs.

The role emphasizes platform engineering, observability, and governance, with opportunities to influence pre-sales and client strategy across the US.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture spanning AI/ML, cloud infrastructure and systems integration.
Hands-on experience designing enterprise AI solutions on Azure (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML) and related data services.
Strong grounding in platform engineering, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep) and CI/CD for AI workloads.
Experience building observability/monitoring for AI/ML in production environments.
Ability to define AI governance, responsible AI, and compliance at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end enterprise AI solutions integrating AI models, data platforms, and enterprise systems.
Define integration patterns across AI services, data pipelines and core business systems.
Translate business requirements into scalable AI-powered designs with clear tradeoffs and risks.
Lead architecture design reviews and guide delivery teams across engagements.
Contribute reusable assets, frameworks, and POVs to strengthen AI delivery capability.
Design Azure-based platform infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for AI workloads.
Champion MLOps practices and governance across the team.
