Job summary

System One in the Reston/Washington, DC area seeks a Lead Agile Transformation Coach to drive enterprise-wide Agile change. You will guide large-scale transformations, coach executives and teams, and establish Lean-Agile practices across programs and leadership.

This 12-month contract-to-hire role requires a deep SAFe background, hands-on ARTs and Value Streams, and a proven ability to remove impediments while elevating delivery performance and business value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as Lean Agile Coach.
• 5+ years SAFe coaching experience.
• Proven track record leading enterprise Agile transformations.
• Coaches across executives, leaders, teams, and programs.
• Expertise in SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and DevOps.
• Experience launching ARTs and Value Streams.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and change management.
• Bridges Agile with real-world organizational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support large-scale Agile transformations across the enterprise.
• Coach executives, leaders, Scrum Masters, RTEs, product teams, and platform teams on Lean-Agile principles and best practices.
• Launch, support, and optimize Value Streams and Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
• Drive Agile maturity, continuous improvement, and organizational change initiatives.
• Facilitate SAFe training and certification courses for internal teams.
• Help teams improve predictability, quality, flow, delivery performance, and business outcomes.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and remove organizational impediments impacting agility.
