Job summary

Belmont Village Lakeway is hiring an Activity Enrichment Leader to guide small-group fitness, art, music, and learning activities for cognitively impaired seniors. You will use an established curriculum and adapt it to resident needs, engaging diverse personalities and encouraging lifelong learning.

The role requires an Associates Degree with coursework in related fields, plus at least 6 months’ experience leading groups.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Education or related field.
• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work the defined schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead small-group activities for cognitively impaired seniors using Whole Brain Fitness programs.
• Prepare materials and conduct memory enrichment activities.
• Assist with assessments and track resident participation and documentation.
