Job summary

Ayar Labs is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to lead the development and execution of complex engineering programs within our Silicon-Photonics and Laser light source Platforms team. You will coordinate cross-functional engineering teams and supplier interactions to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include defining schedules and budgets, gating development to high-volume manufacturing, managing risks, reporting to senior management, and aligning with product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 7+ years of program management experience in semiconductors and/or photonics.
• Strong technical background in semiconductor, photonics, or optics engineering.
• PgMP, PMP or other program/project management certification.
• Familiarity with product development and commercialization processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and milestones.
• Define phase gates and entry/exit criteria for development to high-volume manufacturing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Monitor progress and provide regular status updates to senior management.
• Foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Work with product management and marketing to ensure successful product launches.
