  • Measures and records test specimen features and geometries.
  • Assembles product and test setups in accordance with Test Requests & Plans.
  • Records test data clearly and accurately such that it is easy to interpret by others.
  • Keeps a daily log on each assigned test to maximize test time and minimize downtime.

  • Disassembles and inspects lab units, field test units, and field failures.
  • Performs mechanical repair work on hydraulics, power take-offs, and electronics.
  • Makes recommendations for product disposition, checks in products returned for credit, and determines whether a product is suitable for restock.
  • Operates and maintains a hydraulic test stand.
  • Uses calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, and other common measurement instruments.
  • Ensures test assets are used appropriately, safely, and efficiently.
  • Keeps the test lab safe, clean, orderly, and customer-presentable at all times.
  • Safely operates forklift to move transmissions, materials, and other items as needed.
  • Leads training for customer service managers, field sales managers, and new hires on field failures and how the product works.
  • Writes inspection summaries, compiles customer complaint forms, and reviews data before submitting.
  • Uploads digital images endorsing failure determinations for distribution to customers.
  • Communicates accurately and succinctly with engineering personnel, managers, and the general public.
  • Directs the timely shipment of products to customers and other divisions.
