Job summary

You will interpret blueprints, use hand tools, and maintain organized work areas while complying with safety requirements. A forklift license is necessary; the position operates Monday–Friday in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Knowledge of metric dimensions.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and assignments.
• Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and sub-assembly work using basic hand tools.
• Interpret blueprints to construct products.
• Maintain daily assembly requirements.
• Perform final product testing.
• Lift and move lightweight to heavy-weight objects.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the distribution manager and/or lead.
• Operates a forklift and order picker at heights up to 35', for annual inventory.
• Must be able to secure and retain a forklift license.
