Job summary

Muncie Power Products, Inc. in Tulsa, OK seeks an on-site Full-Time Assembly Worker to produce high-quality assemblies per standards.

You will interpret blueprints, perform sub-assemblies, tests, and maintain tools and workspace while ensuring safety and efficiency. The role requires ability to use hand tools, lift, and operate a forklift at heights, with general responsibilities in a distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Knowledge of metric dimensions.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and job assignments.
• Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and sub-assembly work using basic hand tools.
• Interpret blueprints to construct products.
• Maintain daily assembly requirements.
• Perform final product testing.
• Lift and move lightweight to heavy-weight objects.
• Keep your work area clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the distribution manager and/or lead.
• Operates a forklift and order picker at heights up to 35', for annual inventory.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Your focus is on producing high-quality, detailed work, based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. You are patient and have a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time to produce consistent, error-free work.

• Perform assembly and sub-assembly work using basic hand tools
• Interpret blueprints to construct products
• Maintain daily assembly requirements
• Perform final product testing
• Lift and move lightweight to heavy-weight objects
• Keep your work area clean and orderly
• Perform other duties as assigned by the distribution manager and/or lead
• Operates a forklift and order picker at heights up to 35', for annual inventory
• Must be able to secure and retain a forklift license
