Job summary

Lam Research in the United States is seeking an Engineering Technician to support design, test, modification, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems and specialized test equipment.

You will reference schematics and documentation to conduct testing, diagnose issues, and help remediate malfunctions. Strong collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams is required, along with shift adaptability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in testing, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of equipment or electronics.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and descriptions to conduct testing and troubleshooting.
• Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Proficient with computer-based data systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Willingness to work a shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, or defined plans.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Inspect materials and measure circuitry with precision instruments and standard procedures.
• Conduct operational tests and fault isolation to remedy malfunctions.
• Collaborate with development engineers to design, troubleshoot prototypes and models.
