Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking an Electronic Technician II to support ground-based electronic systems across multiple ranges. The role involves installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, troubleshooting, modifying, constructing, and testing a variety of electronic equipment and related devices.

You will work under general technical guidance, diagnose faults, set up and operate systems, and document actions for part replacement and mission reporting.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited college or technical school with courses in math, basic electronics, and microwave theory, or military equivalent, plus 3 years hands-on experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in general electronics and electronic, electro-mechanical, and computer systems.
• Good understanding of information technology with emphasis on networking.
• Experience with tubes, transistors, logic gates, and/or high-power RF devices.
• Ability to identify system subassemblies, troubleshoot to component level, and solder.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electronic transmitting and receiving equipment and related devices.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair to restore operation.
• Set up, operate, and program ground-based electronic systems.
• Document maintenance actions and complete logistics documentation.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians and communicate with engineers and vendors.
