Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking an Engineering Technician IV to support engineering and design staff in installing, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, fabricating, constructing, and operating diverse electronic and mechanical equipment in line with engineering specs. The role involves on-site fieldwork, PMI procedure creation, system drawings, and life-cycle support for threat instrumentation.

Overnight travel may be required; the environment emphasizes safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Vocational/technical training beyond high school from an academic institution, or military equivalent training.
• 7+ years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication and operation of electronic/mechanical equipment.
• Create/update PMI procedures and manuals.
• Monitor PMIs on hardware such as IR cameras and generators.
• Build prototypes and wire cables per MIL-SPEC and NEC.
• Provide troubleshooting and installation support to engineers.
