Job summary

TRISTAR seeks an Engineering Technician VI (TIG) to lead and support complex electronics and RF/microwave projects. You will diagnose, test, repair, and troubleshoot electronic countermeasure systems and related instrumentation, reading schematics and layouts, and mentoring junior technicians.

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance are required; travel up to 50% and field work in various environments are possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent technical training is required.
• US Citizenship Required and ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• 7+ years in electronics tech, test, or repair of Electronic Countermeasure systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute complex projects or studies as a technical expert in electronics, RF, and environmental factors affecting electronic systems.
• Design, test, troubleshoot, and support RF systems, ECME, and related test equipment.
• Review work for compliance with objectives and provide guidance on technical problems or policy matters.
• May supervise and train lower-level technicians.
