Job summary

TRISTAR is seeking an RF / Electrical Systems Engineer (TIG) to join our team in Indiana. The role focuses on design, analysis, and optimization of RF and electrical infrastructure for test range operations, ensuring reliable communications and power systems.

The candidate will perform power system studies, RF measurements, and support fiber optic/copper cabling, with 3+ years in RF/electrical fields and a BS in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, RF systems, telecommunications, or test infrastructure support.
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution, wireless telecommunications, and RF signal design/processing.
  • Proficiency with RF circuit schematics and RF design components.

Responsibilities

  • Provide RF and electrical engineering support for signal communications management and power distribution for test activities.
  • Design, analyze, and optimize test range infrastructure, including wired and wireless systems.
  • Manage fiber-to-cellular wireless tower architecture and related telecom infrastructure.
  • Perform power system studies and reliability, safety, and performance improvements.
  • Conduct RF measurements and diagnose complex RF-related issues.
  • Prepare engineering documentation and reports for system readiness.
  • Support field testing and lab work in varied environments.
