Terumo Cardiovascular is seeking a technically skilled engineer in our R&D lab to perform defined activities supporting engineering projects. You will develop and implement technical initiatives to improve products and processes on a project basis.

The role emphasizes patient safety, quality, and hands-on work with prototypes, fixtures, and evaluation of new equipment. Strong documentation and CAD experience are essential.

Qualificações

• Associates Degree or technical degree preferred with related R&D experience.
• 12+ years in R&D Lab and/or medical device experience is desirable.
• Medical device electro‑mechanical product development exposure preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain quality policy compliance and document processes.
• SME supporting test, modification, fabrication, and assembly tasks.
• Build prototypes and prepare feasibility test units; select materials.
• Develop, procure, construct, evaluate and validate new equipment/tools.
• Conduct testing, collect and analyze data; troubleshoot issues.
• Operate diverse lab equipment; set up, break down, re-assemble.
• Train and coach junior staff on procedures and techniques.
• Design fixtures with sketches and CAD; support drawings/procedures.
• Perform test method development and validation for equipment.
• Initiate Engineering Change Requests as needed.
