Qualifications

• Requires a four-year college degree in an engineering discipline and a minimum of three years of experience in an engineering environment or a masters degree in an engineering discipline and a minimum of two years of experience in an engineering environment.
• Basic computer software skills, i.e. Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Use multidisciplinary engineering knowledge to design and develop innovative medical devices or components/subsystems in support of Company's strategic plan.
• Execute project tasks according to project plan.
• Utilize engineering skills to solve engineering problems at the component through system level and conduct testing using existing protocols or develop new ones.
• Apply engineering knowledge to the design and development of new products as well as product changes and enhancements.
• Work with other functional areas within Terumo CV to coordinate introduction of new products and improvements.
• Contribute to the intellectual property position of the Company via invention and patent applications and documentation in technical notebooks.
