Job summary

CTI and Associates is seeking an Engineering Technician to support DOE, DOD, and commercial projects. You will conduct tests, collect data, and assist in creating schematics and reports while overseeing assembly and testing of prototypes.

The role requires an Associate degree in Engineering Technology and 5 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates with government project exposure. Travel and compliance with safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in an engineering technician role, government projects or highly regulated environments preferred.
• Certifications in equipment operation or safety are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced technical tasks to support engineering projects, including tests, measurements, and data collection.
• Assist engineers in preparing schematics, blueprints, and reports.
• Oversee assembly, installation, and testing of engineering systems and prototypes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot advanced technical equipment, ensuring proper functionality and calibration.
• Lead fieldwork activities such as surveys and inspections; ensure accuracy and compliance with specs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and staff.
• Ensure safety and environmental regulations are followed on-site or in lab.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
• Flexibility to adapt duties as needed to respond to shifting conditions or company priorities.
