Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a TACOM (ANAD) Engineering Tech IV to support engineering, maintenance, and sustainment for TACOM-managed systems. The role requires advanced technical expertise to analyze problems, support system design, and lead troubleshooting and integration efforts.

Operates with minimal supervision and may provide leadership and guidance to less experienced technicians while coordinating with internal and external teams on depot projects.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of a wide range of technical engineering methods, principles, requirements, work techniques, and practices.
• Knowledge of engineering methods and requirements to advise on difficult, but well-precedented issues.
• Ability to make informed decisions on problems and analyze segments of broader issues.
• Ability to perform installation, maintenance, operation, testing with precision instruments and unique equipment.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (as required).
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Journeyman Engineering Technician for comprehensive facility project support.
• Apply engineering knowledge (civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical) to installation support using CADD and GIS; maintain base information as GIS Specialist.
• Coordinate with engineers, staff, and external agencies; perform quality inspections and ensure standards compliance.
• Maintain CADD system, back up data, archive records, and guide lower-graded employees to improve efficiency.
