Job summary

KBR is seeking an Engineering Technician VI to join the Mission Technology Solutions team in the United States. The role interfaces with Government technical personnel and leads on the FACSFAC Field Maintenance Contract for NAWCAD Wolf ATC/LS.

This position requires extensive engineering experience, ability to supervise lower level technicians, and a track record of solving complex design problems in challenging environments. Spin-off to Trinzic planned for January 2027.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree/technical school with 16+ years of experience or a high school diploma with 20+ years of experience.
• Minimum six years of experience including installation of ATC&LS equipment and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Applies engineering principles to plan and complete projects of broad scope.
• Lead and supervise others on complex tasks as needed.
• Prepare designs and specifications for complex equipment and systems.
• Plan test setups and experiments to validate designs and improve performance.
• Coordinate fabrication of pilot models and test procedures.
